The school year is almost over, and that means…Time to Think About Next School Year!!!

Get em’ while they’re hot, school supplies for your 2019-2020 school year!!  You can purchase your supplies on-line, or fill out the attached form and drop your money and form by the Herod PTO mailbox at school.

RESCHEDULED!! Join us after the VIPS Breakfast, Friday May 17th at 8:15AM, to discuss the latest in school news and elect board members for the 2019-2020 school year.  We also have openings for various committee chairs that need to be filled.  Looking forward to seeing you there!!

Hey Herod Jets!  During the week of May 13th-17th the PTO will be providing the staff and teachers with lunch. Show your appreciation for our awesome staff and teachers by sending in desserts for them to enjoy! Cake, cookies, candy, pie, homemade or store bought! You can drop them off at the front desk.

Hey Herod Jets!!! Herod Elementary kindly requests your help in providing treat bags for our STAAR testers in third, fourth, and fifth grades. Testing will be on May 13th-15th. Our young jets need sustenance to keep them focused, relaxed and working hard. 

If you’re able to help. Please sign up and send in the donated items with your child. Items will be collected by the PTO volunteers. Please turn in all snacks by the afternoon of May 8th so that we can assemble the treat bags. We will be assembling the bags on May 9th at 7:30 am.

Thank you to our wonderful art teacher Ms. Roberson for inspiring all our young artists and putting on a fantastic art show, and thank you to our very own Principal Turek for making sure all of our students’ artwork was at the show!!

Happy Principal Appreciation Day to our very own amazing Principal Turek!  Thank you for your love and compassion and all that you do for our wonderful little school!!  If you see Mrs. Turek this week, show her some love!!

Join your fellow Herod Jets at SPIRIT NIGHT at ESCALANTE’S, Meyerland Plaza on Monday, May 6th!  Mention that you are there for Spirit Night to your waitstaff to have a portion of your meal donated back to Herod!  Looking forward to seeing everyone Monday!!
